PROJECTS

A program that supports high school and university students from abroad who aim to study at Japanese universities.

Japan University Examination

The Japan University Examination (JPUE), sponsored by our foundation, is a globally common selection examination system for entering Japanese universities.

Those who wish to study in Japan take our own written and interview exams, and Japanese universities participating in the exam select students they want to accept based on their results in local common exams and basic academic ability assessments in high schools, achieving the best match between Japanese universities and overseas students who wish to study in Japan.

After matching is established, we provide Japanese language education locally according to the type of person the university is looking for, as well as support for studying abroad, and ultimately, we have a system in place that allows selected students to study abroad directly at a Japanese university.

Teaching Japanese to foreigners who want to come to Japan

Proposal for the introduction of a global standard for teaching the four Japanese language skills and assessing their acquisition

Our foundation aims to change the traditional input-based Japanese language learning that focuses on reading and listening, and to learn Japanese that can be truly used. We provide Japanese language teaching methods that incorporate the acquisition of output skills such as speaking and writing, and we are also working on developing textbooks for learners.

In addition to promoting the learning of the four skills of Japanese, we are also proposing to revise the Japanese language acquisition assessment criteria from N1 to N5 and to use the CEFR (Ce-Far) axis, which is the global standard for foreign language learning.

In addition, our affiliated organization, the International Education Promotion Association, is hosting the Japanese Language 4 Skills Acquisition Assessment Test "JLCAT" that is linked to the same standard, and the synergistic effect of this with our foundation's reform of Japanese language learning instruction has become a hot topic among Japanese language learners.

Commissioned to operate Japanese language programs for international students within universities.

Utilizing the aforementioned Japanese language teaching method, we collaborate with Japanese universities to operate pre-enrollment Japanese language programs for international students." "Currently, we have been entrusted with the operation of such a program at Musashino University since 2020. In addition to students aiming to enter Musashino University, the program has gained a strong reputation, attracting many international students who aspire to attend prestigious national and private universities in Japan.
